As though Bundeswehr was to celebrate total control over german air space, 75 years after its predecessor, Wehrmacht, ceased to exist, planners of week-daily air warfare exercises in the EU´s most extreme air warfare training zone above millions of EU citizens, ED-R 401 MVPA NE, covering most of north east Germany, sent two fighterjets in extreme low level fly-overs „targeting“ cities throughout East Germany. Eurofighter/Tornado (unknown) fighter jets were heard terrorizing residents of the cities and vicinity of Neubrandenburg, Fürstenberg, Rheinsberg, Neuruppin, Brandenburg and possibly other cities.
MODE S transponders in aircraft, ensuring citizen-run MLAT localisation of fighter jets, are commonly turned off by pilots or MODE S Signals are otherwise obfuscated as part of the overall warfare training maneuvers in ED-R 401 MVPA NE. MODE S transponders in the fighter jets were probably turned off in this case when the fighter jets reached the city of Brandenburg, west of Berlin.
Attached images visualize routine air warfare training above large parts of formerly quiet and tranquil natural landscapes of East Germany. Most of which were successfully de-militarized post the 1989 collapse of the East Block and turned into retreat for endangered species. The area features the largest connected area of FFH areas, protected environmental zones of various types, National Parks etc. The visualisation shows a series of screenshots of international citizen-run MODE S MLAT network adsbexchange.com, serving as a last resort for hundreds of thousands of EU citizens, turned background actors against their will and without their knowledge or consent in autumn of 2013, in order to gain a minimum technical transparency in the wake of Bundeswehr led efforts to prevent any contextual information on ED-R 401 MVPA NE being published outside their own publication channels.
ED-R 401 MVPA NE is based on the Advanced Flexible Use Of Airspace (AFUA) Concept of the EU Commission, part of Single European Sky, in fact aiming for a thorough militarisation of European airspace by establishing „bookable“ sectors of airspace where military use is paramount. Yet – in contrast to „traditional“ military air zones – civil aviation is routed through active air warfare sectors in different laterals but at the same time and in close proximity to exercising fighterjets. ED-R 401 MVPA NE is the first, probably largest and probably most opaque air warfare training zone of the Military Variable Profile Area type of the European Union and in particular in Germany. Military Variable Profile Areas, based on AFUA, may pop up just about anywhere. The military thus would not need defined training areas any more.
German media has a de-facto censorship in place, on anything related to ED-R 401 MVPA NE context, failing to ensure basic principles of an informed public. Democracy can not work without informed discourse that curbs extreme developments, such as rampaging unparalleled militarisation of vast areas of the EU. The wall of silence by german media on ED-R 401 MVPA NE has been solid since the zone ED-R 401 MVPA NE had been secretly activated in autumn 2013 – and has constantly been extended, geographically and in terms of actual hours of air warfare training and the number of participating military aircraft above densely populated regions of Europe.
What worth are speeches of federal and state politicians who warn of the destruction and agony, resulting from World War II – when a supposedly parliamentary controlled air force, partially founded by ex-Nazi generals, can carry out extreme air warfare maneuvres, including frightening low level flights of fighter jets above cities, at VE Day / 75th anniversary of the end of World War 2, without being even reported by news media in Germany? No question, no comment. We call on international media to expose this batant disregard and to shine a light on the meaning of this de-facto comment of Bundeswehr officials on this special day of remembrance of the horrors of war!

The Air Space Use Plan is a tool of obfuscation of actual air ware training unfolding on a daily basis, and undeclared routine of air warfare noise above millions of EU-citizens in the north east of Germany.
